.Net Developer (E-Trading & Front Office)
12 Month Contract
Location: London (Hybrid)

Lorien's UK leading Investment banking client are currently looking for a highly skilled .NET Developer to join the team on an initial 6-month contract.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong core experience working with .NET Core
• Familiarity with SQL database technologies, preferably Oracle/SQL Server
• Must have experience with multi-threading programming
• Experience with asynchronous and event driven programming
• Experience developing Real Time applications
• Familiar with building distributed systems
• Knowledge of networks and topologies
• Firm grounding of common algorithms
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Proactive team player with a "can-do" attitude
• Excellent analytical problem solver
• Attention to detail and thoroughness a must
• Ability to design and implement unit tests and integrate into automated build process
• End-to-end ownership - ensure the code that you write is carried through to production

Desired Skills/Experience

• Experience of working with .NET 5/.NET Core
• Experience of .NET stack AI technologies (ML.NET, NLP etc.)
• Experience of working with Rx (Reactive Extensions)
• Experience of working with Python
• Experience of working with HTML5 and JS
• A working knowledge of Fixed Income instruments
• A working knowledge of eTrading workflows such as RFQ's and IOI's
• A working knowledge of Sales workflows and applications
• A working knowledge of ION
• Experience working in a Front Office team
